Black History Month: They Can't Erase It

Ok let’s get the dumpster fire out of the way so we can move into the good stuff.

The trump administration will continue to try to erase Black history, from putting a young white lady in charge of the African American History Museum to removing the story of slavery from the President’s House in Philly to removing the plaque celebrating Black WW2 soldiers in the Netherlands. Baby hands will not destroy history. Sad his maga cult is so scared of Black greatness.

On the subject of greatness, congratulations to my friends and Grammy winners Christian McBride, Sullivan Fortner and Samara Joy. Just incredible jazz talents. Every year I work the jazz cruises, and I’ve often said if you take this cruise, you’d think Grammys were easy to win. I love jazz music and musicians.

I know it’s February and probably cold wherever you are (LA fans stop laughing). Try warming up with some music, some friends or just scroll videos of ice agents falling down in actual ice. It’s fun.

I’m on the ship until Feb 18.

Feb 20 I’m doing The Dirty at 12:30 Show at the South Point Casino in Vegas https://dirtyat1230.com

Feb 28 I’m at City Winery in Pittsburgh  https://citywinery.com/pages/genre/pittsburgh-comedy

Tickets are on sale now for the recording of my next comedy special: Comedy & All That Jazz with Grammy winner Christian McBride at the Phi Center in Montreal on March 5:
